What is your character's name, level, class? Galarion, 85, Death Knight

What is your character's build? 5/3/33 Unholy

Why did you choose that build? I've played Unholy from day one in wotlk, and i love it - i tried frost once but that wasn't anything for me really. I just chose the basic cookie cutter build and then tweaked it to my liking. And according to EJ im not far off the table to what is a normal UH build, so i guess im quite sure of what im doing

Are you willing to respec if you are asked to by an officer or a class leader, in order to be more helpful to the raid? Yes ofc, however i'd have to relearn the class as Frost since i only tried it once in WOTLK but i was mostly the aggro whore with that spec so i decided to switch back, the DPS was basically the same anyways. Things have probably changed in Cataclysm tho. But yes i am willing to respec if needed.

What are your professions and why did you choose them? atm im full in every secondary with every (cataclysm) cooking recipes (apart from the new fish feast), and i have Engineer and Blacksmithing as primary proffessions. I chose Engineering because of the tinkers. Especially the Synapse Springs which give me +480 in the highest stat (Str) and since i used to be hated with the Steemwheelde Cartel (got neutral today) i havent had the chance to go into any Engineer spec yet. But ill go Goblin for the extra damage with bombs.

My other prof is Blacksmithing, i think it suits plate wearers nice and i get 2 extra sockets.

Name the previous guilds you were in and why you are leaving them/guildless How far back do you need? The past 4½ years ive been with the same ppl, first it was Girl Scouts the swedish/norwegian guild, then we reformed under the name Einherjar in WOTLK just because we wanted to get that scandinavian feeling out of wotlk, since it offered so many Viking environments and names. Einherjar is a fallen warrior who's taken to Valhalla by the Valkyries. And now i choose to leave them

Were you kicked out of any guilds, and if so, for what reason(s)? Iv'e never been kicked from any guild - but once (when i still played tank warrior) in very early TBC when my guild disbanded i thought i'd try to apply as a Fury warrior, my first time playing DPS ever as a warrior i was quite horrible to be precise and i was asked to leave the guild. Nothing personal, just DPS warrior wasnt my calling so i went back to tanking instead because i owned at that at least...

Please give a description of what rotation you use within a raid on boss encounters. Well... DK's doesnt really have a Set In Stone rotation anymore like in WOTLK, more like priorities. Diseases -> Dark Transformation -> SS spam -> Festering strike. Ive read that you should substitute one SS for a DND even on Single Target fights for more even DPS but i can't confirm that since it was quite recently i read about it.

What, if any, raiding experience do you have (including vanilla, TBC and WOTLK)? I started playing about 5 months into Vanilla, i choose a Tauren Warrior and named him Nishtai (some might recognize the name) i leveled to 60 and joined a guild named Cult of Luna (this was on the server Hellscream). I started Main Tanking successful runs in Molten Core and we went through about 6-7 bosses the first week (mind you this was quite the accomplishment back in the days), we went into ZG and we cleared everything there except the Madness part, plus i missed a Jin'do kill, i never killed him personally but the guild did.

After a couple of weeks of being stuck on Ragnaros we decided we should check BWL out, we did and we failed so hard. Basically that was when we realized 1/3 of the raid setup didnt really "do" anything during our raids in MC (the classic half the raid are AFK or on Follow), and since everyone had to do their part on Razorgore, ppl moaned and whined. So we skipped BWL. Later we downed Ragnaros which was a huge morale boost for us.

Our guild became famous in an "odd" way.
We usually did Onyxia, Kazzak (the old one in Blasted Lands) and Azuregos with less than 25ppl. Those fights were meant to be 40man. Later we cleared AQ20. After a couple of tries on Razorgore we got fed up and tired of "holding the noob's hands" and i told my GM that i had looked up this new server named Anachronos which had opened 2 days earlier, prior to the release of TBC. He thought the idea was good and we transfered here renaming the guild Cryptic. The transfer was a success and we Downed Razorgore which bugged ofc... his adds came pouring on us in Phase 2, they killed him, but we got the kill - we had a couple of tries on Vael but to no aveil.

In TBC i cleared Karazhan with Cryptic before it disbanded, i joined Gravity after this who were progressing through SSC, i was there for a while before it too disbands. Then i heard that this Swedish guild had transfered from Silvermoon, so i spoke to them and applied and got accepted as a Tank warrior.
With Girl Scouts i cleared SSC and TK, Magtheridon, Gruul's Lair, Mount Hyjal and up to Illidan in BT. After WOTLK was released we made a name change to Einherjar which included some new officers, the same GM tho. We cleared Naxxramas pretty quick. Both 25 and 10man, the same with OS and EOE. Later i took a break from WoW just before Ulduar was released but came back just in time for my only kill in Ulduar, Yogg'saron 25man hehe. After that i did like 4-5 first in Ulduar before TOC was released which we cleared.

During the TOC era we had some issues within the guild, ppl going emo and basically half the guild left (they were all related or knew eachother in some way) So that was a big blow to our PvE progress. We cleared everything in ICC10 tho and we had a few 2% wipes on Halion heroic mode. The day the guild killed Halion HC i wasnt online.

In Cataclysm i have been raid leading a 10man guildrun 3 times a week and we have cleared up to Cho'gall (like 28% or something), killed Omnotron, Magmaw, Maloriak, Atramedes in BWD and only had 1 try on Chimaeron. We've killed Conclave of Winds a couple of times as well with no tries on Al'akir.

We raid a 3 night schedule of Wed / Thur / Tue - 19.30 - 23.00(3.30hours), can you maintain 95% attendance? out of ~35 raid events in my old guild i only missed 1 due to IRL issues and we had basically the same days as you have, apart from that we raided on Sundays instead of Wednesdays. So yes i will probably have the attendance needed.

Do you think that you have adequate knowledge of the English language in order to understand Raid leaders, officers and other members of the guild in both oral and written speech? Ive spoken swedish on TS3 for about 2½ years now, i can deffo understand both oral and written english, my oral english is quite rusty tho. Ill see what i can do about that ^^ but listen and understanding english, no worries.

Could you give us the basic specifications of the computer you plan to raid with (processor, R.A.M, graphics card, operating system)? Intel Core 2 duo 3.16Ghz, 8Gb Ram, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT, Windows Vista 32Bit. Once i get enough money ill change the GFX card, i can have between 50-60 FPS in OG/Dalaran

We allow the odd DC, internet trouble, but we don’t want this happening every single time you turn up to a raid, is your connection stable? 100Mb Fiber - no i dont have any trouble with my net. It's VERY rarely i DC.

Are you familiar with using ventrilo? Havent Used ventrilo in years, but i will get it asap should i be accepted

Do you have a mic and will speak on ventrilo? I have a mic, but im not sure im up for serious and advanced discussion since my english is very rusty hehe time will tell if i have the courage to humiliate myself ^^

Are you willing to keep your gear upgraded with the best gems and enchants available? Yes ofc, however since the release of new bracer enchants im waiting for the next patch to kick in, the Maelstrom crystals will be in the JP vendor. IMO it's a waste of money to upgrade 15 more Str or go from 50 Haste to 50 Str for 4.5K gold! But yes once i get a new item ill slap the best enchant on it for sure, those extremely expensive mats wasnt available when i got my items.

Are you ready to wipe in order to manage through teamwork to down some of the most difficult encounters in the game? Yes ofc.

On progression raids we reserve our right to pick the best team until its on farm, do you agree to sit out if asked by the guild leader? I can admit i CAN get grumpy since i want to raid obviously but for the greater good, sure.

Why did you choose to apply to Spire? For starters Dee is back on Anachronos and my old guild has been dead for too long and he told me you needed Death Knights, and i think your raid times should fit perfectly - im a wowoholic on the weeks but i have my Girl friend to attend to during weekends.

What are you looking to achieve within a guild? Progress, to see content.

What are you NOT looking for within a guild? Hard question, elitist bastards who cant show respect and think they're above everyone else.

Anything else you wish to add I love to collect achievements, and im usually up for farming a few whenever i can.
